Years and years of waiting? no kidding. Look at my priority date. And there are people waiting before me. You used a pre-approved labor and have been waiting in the GC queue from what 2006? Dude, in today's world, a reasonable wait for eb3-is anywhere between 10-15 years and eb2 is atleast 5-6 years. I am not mad that you used a pre-approved labor, though in my personal opinion, its a taboo. I am just saying you are lucky enough that you may get your green card much quickly than people like us who have been waiting atleast 8-10 years and trust me, people like your case, usually should be happy.
I can empathize. I might me more luckier than you, and there are people *luckier* than me. (You know what I mean..) But, if for some reason I don't get my GC, and you get your GC in a few years, me being lucky to start with is of no use. Nothing is sure till GC is on-hand for anyone.
So, I would appreciate if someone could let me know if there are any disadvantages process-wise when it comes to I-485 adjudication on a pre-approved labor.

I have the same question. I have my labor approved (pre-approved labor) and I-140 approved. My PD is Nov-04. I don't have a copy of my approved I-140 and my company does not give it to me.

Got the cards in the mail. My online case status says the application is still pending.

Check with your attorney, in your mail boxes along with the online USCIS case status. You may get the good news in your mail box or from your attorney's office before your status is updated online.
This is what my attorney had to say:
The USCIS online status system is maintained by contract workers and is often inaccurate.
My Online status got updated today. Snail mail is faster than email - happens only with USCIS. Anyways, my journey is over. Good luck to others.

How many years of years of W-2 form copies do we need to attach, when we file I-485 applications?
The more the better. Maybe you don't need to file them at all but rather than risk getting an RFE later, send them as much info as possible.
I sent all my W2 and tax returns since 7 years back...
An RFE shouldn't be too bad, you just waste a week or so. You'll be ok in any case.

EB2 and EB3 at one point were in the same boat. Now that EB2 is advancing and is way ahead of EB3, the EB3 applicants are upset and angry. Their anger is very much justified. However, their anger should not be directed towards EB2 applicants.
As I pointed out in another post, we are all players here and we are all playing by the rules. The system is not fair. Anger should be directed towards the system and not towards EB2s.
"hate the game, don't hate the playa....Chris Rock" is appropriate here.
Most of the EB2s, if not all, are supportive of reform and are supportive towards EB3 friends. The anger may lead to the disruption of this support.
We are all in this together. We all need to stay together.

I just spoke with customer service representative, She said 2 A #s are not at all problem and she said one more thing to make sure that I485 A # should appear in GC when it will approve.

I am a June 25th filer, and i got my receipt for 485/131/765 on Sept 10th and haven't received any EAD or AP and no LUD as well forget about FP. I called TSC multiple time and was told first to wait till 90 days of filling ,then 30 days past receipt now 4 more weeks; since they are heavily backlogged busy in issuing receipts for 485 filer.
When i contacted my lawyer he told me the same he is still waiting for the receipts for some of his clients who filed in July/August and reassured me that if or when a receipt is issued he will also get a receipt notice, and will contact me ... so don't worry to much regarding FP misplacement and relax it will come... after all it is National security, if the US is not concerned regarding it then why should you .;)
By the way my PD is March,2003

infact mine is from Nebraska...my A # numbers are changed...First name Last name my lawyer has made a confusion thats also wrong interchanged.As I have EAD adjudicated I have to pay new fees for new EAD with corrected name accepting my mistake of filing with interchanged names. Thats what IO told me yesterday.
Most of my friends in NYC-applied in TSC July 2...They have got evertything by Aug end infact some of them have done FP too in sep.
I am waiting for FP so that I can request them for correction too.

I got only 2 copies of AP from TSC. I might have to go to India multiple times in coming months (more that 2). Will the POE officer take the original AP on each entry? Is there any USCIS/CBP reference/guidelines that instructs the POE officer to take the copies and leave the orignals with us? Any help appriciated

Anyhow, faxes is only one aspect. We need to try to make some personal contact with the staff, perhaps visit his DC/Milwaukee offices. If we can focus our energies there, i sincerely think we can reap greater rewards.

if they ask explain teh situation calmly....and tell them your attorney has filed to get u a new approval after he dsicovered ur mistake..Keep phone numbers of ur employer, attorney handy if needed to call them and confirm u are legit!!

First of all, this is a wrong forum to went our your points about illegals.. We in IV encourage a legal immigration. But the moment we start excluding people, the list can go on and on.. You start with so called illegasl today (with due sympathy for using that word..), but this exclusion will go on to legals, new doctors, engineers willing to come, settle and work in USA. Remember this is a land of immigrants. If you have any doubt, just look at the new bills introduced by senators to effectively kill H1B program the only legal option for most educated to come to US.
Lets for instance say we want everyone to go back to their own countries.. Where do you want to draw that line to go back, 1980?, 1900? how about 1600??
Grow up and learn to innovate new ways to get employed and live a happy life. Don't try to ruin the very foundation on which this country is built. Trust me there are more patriots in this forum than you could imagine..
