Take an Infopass appointment and tell them that you have not received FP notice. Sometimes taking infopass appt helps. So you can try that option.
CAn you please help with the process on how to take an infopass.

My H1 is expiring in Oct 2008 and my employer did not allow me to apply for EAD.
As for your questions, If you don't have a valid H1 and no EAD, you are out of status. That can have an adverse effect on your I-485 if such period exceeds 180 days.
about the 90-day thing, USCIS used to allow you to walk into a local office and get an interim EAD if your EAD application is pending for 90 days or more, but they seem to have discontinued that practice. Moreover, it will take much longer than 90 days now to get an EAD.
You can apply EAD yourself but you need the I-485 receipt notice for that and I'm sure such employer won't give that to you either.

I send my AINP Application package on 18th March (H1-B worker stream) and was received by the AINP on 20th March. However I have not received any confirmation or a file number yet since it takes 2 months. Any idea if my application will be considered according to the current policies or according to the new changes that are coming up on April 15th?

Same question. My friend is pregnant and wants to deliver the baby in India. They have filed for AoS now. Howevr they are not sure how to bring ther baby in if they deliver in India.

Why don't you post the name of company as you already posted the state and city they operate from, and name of the person with whom you have been going back and forth as you said in your post? That will help everybody including the authorities to take them to task if they are doing anything illegal..

I had got a similar enquiry from DOL couple of years back. They were explicit in asking about being paid while on bench. In my case I have had minimal bench time and hence answered accordingly. I am sure there must be other employees in my company (desi IT consulting) who are getting paid irregularly.
I do not think it will effect your new H1B decision. Bottom line is do not lie. If you don't want to tell the truth, don't reply to them.

Can anybody please help in answering below questions on my case? I really appreciate your help. This is urgent for me.
#1: I am working for Company A (current company). My GC processing details (with current company):
1. Labor Approved.
2. I-140 Approved with priority date of Aug 2006 (Category -EB2)
3. I-485 - NOT filed
#2: I am on 6th year of H1-B. My current H1-B is valid till Jan 29, 2011 (less than 365 days from today).
I want to change job and join Company B (new company) for excellent offer and life long stability.
As per my understanding, for continuous H1-B extension & GC approval on existing priority date, I must stay with existing company(A). But attorney of new company(B) is saying he will be able to handle my H1-B extension and may be able to save my priority date also by filing new PERM & I-140. I am not sure whether attorney of new company(B) is correct or not. Can anybody please help in answering below questions?
Ques : If new company(B) transfers H1-B and USCIS will grant H1-B for 3 years based on approved I-140 with current company(A):
A. Can USCIS revokes extended period ( after Jan 29, 2011) if current company(A) revokes their approved I-140 before new company(B) gets approval of new PERM and I-140?
B. Can new company (B) start new PERM application during my extension period (after Jan 29, 2011)?

I think since your labor is cleared, you should be fine with going ahead with the H1 extension for 1 year. As I said, if you had your I-140 cleared, then you could have applied for a 3 year extension. The 365 day rule applies in case your labor is in the pending state. Let us assume that your labor is NOT approved. In such a case your labor should be pending more than 365 days prior to the expiry date of your current H1B. If not, you are not eligible for extension and you have to leave the country. Your case is different.
Please consult an attorney such as Murthy or Rajeev Khanna to get a confirmed approach.. They may charge you 100$ for a half an hour to 1 hour consultation, but it will be worth it. Better be right at the outset than be sorry later.

Bush is for immigration reform.
I see people disliking him, but to be fair to him, that man had some very good ideas when he became the president. He was unlucky that 9-11 happened when he was just 9 months into presidency and inexperienced, but his response was good, and it was wrong for him to go into Iraq as the reasons were all wrong. That was a huge mistake, probably in-expereince, wrong advisors, oil lobby, and some of the fear from 9-11, all contributed to that decision.
Overall, he has done more in terms of changing things, and has started debates on more controversial issues than anyone before. He has done more for the world trade, es[ecially countries like India, China and Brazil. He has gone beyond racial and gender factors, as reflected in choice of his staff and advisors.
Debates have to be started before anything happens and sometime it takes years, even after the presidency is over.
It's easy to blame him for everything as he is the face we see. I am not a Bush supporter, but actually a huge Clinton fan, but I think we tend to be overly unfair to the man. He has an office that comes with blames, sometimes decisions are not easy and you could go wrong either way. Your husband the president said he thinks it should only be in English. But if you go to the State Department website, you can find it in I think four languages. LAURA BUSH, FIRST LADY: We've all heard a lot of different versions like at the Super Bowl every year. I don't think there's anything wrong with singing it in Spanish. The point is it's the United States' national anthem. And what people want is it to be sung in a way that respects the United States and our culture.
KING: Is that an issue on which you disagree with your husband, he says it should be sung in English?
BUSH: Well I think it should be sung in English, of course.
KING: But you also said it -- BUSH: But you know it's like reading hymns in the hymnal. I love it when I look at the bottom of "Amazing Grace" and there are the words in the Methodist hymnal in Swahili. I think that's great.

A lot of people have stood in line for a long time and done everything they can do to be accepted as legal citizens of the United States. KING: As you know, voter anger, the country's anger at what they perceive to be a slow federal response is one of the reasons your husband's poll ratings have slumped considerably. He's now in the mid-30s in most poll ratings. They're using the term in Washington, many are, "lame duck." He can't like that.
BUSH: No I'm sure he doesn't like. I don't like that either, obviously. When you're elected for a second term, and there are term limits, then of course you start off in some ways as the lame duck. Hi,
I was hoping to get some help on my situation. I have I-140 approved, received EAD and AP. Also my H1B was also recently extended. I am expecting a promotion and also will have to change location to a different city with the same employer.
Would this require filing for AC21? Also would this require amendment to H1B visa?
Any help would be appreciated.

Nothing surprising here. I have yet to hear about one desi employer who has not exploited H1b. The system is set up to favor the employer. Employees hardly have a choice. Those in favor of increasing the quota should also lobby for complete portability without any penalty to keep the system fair.
